The Oceanographic Institute thesis prize
The Institute of Oceanography’s thesis prize of 3,000 euros is awarded each year to a young researcher for his or her thesis work carried out in a French doctoral school, in a discipline related to the sea or the ocean, as well as for the publications issued in connection with this work.

Will you be the next recipient of the award for your work?
Applications must be submitted within three years of the thesis defense. The application for the 2021 award should be sent in digital form to Mr. Olivier Dufourneaud – Director of Ocean Policy of the Oceanographic Institute: award[a]oceano.org.
The winner will be announced in early 2021, and the award will be presented at a ceremony later in 2021.
